One of my favorite Italian places in Jax. Their cocktails are always quite tasty. I usually get the carbonara, but this visit I got the fettuccine. The blue glacier sauce has a hint of blue cheese to give it a unique flavor. The outside patio is great when the weather allows it and you're able to make a reservation for large groups easily.

We stopped by on a recent trip to the Town Center as I remembered it being good and locally owned. One of the Medure Brothers restaurants. We started with a white sangria for me and a soda for the hubby. I chose a Margarita pizza and the hubby had the prime rib French dip sandwich with fries. The food was tasty but hubby did not care the bread on his sandwich . He said it was hard and rubbery and hard to eat. My pizza was good. The sangria was good as well. It did take a bit longer than normal for a lunch during the week but they were busy. Nice Italian fare with some unique dishes. I would visit again.

A couple more visits has me sold on this restaurant for drinks, apps, pizza, and desserts...but not so much on the pasta. Service continues to be friendly, and my praise for the bread and ice cream remains high! Both are delicious on each trip I've taken. I've recently tried the white pizza, which was great, and the carrot fries. These "fries" were entire carrots in a fried tempura batter; the carrots were soft despite being whole, and the batter stuck to them well. It is a very heavy dish, though, as you'd expect for something fried. The disappointment came again in the pasta department for me. On my latest trip, I tried the tortellino. The accompanying sauce and vegetables were fine, but the pasta filling was gritty and the entire tortellino was way, way too salty -- it's rare that something is actually too salty to even eat for me, but both pieces I tried were just not edible. Maybe the third time getting pasta would be the charm here, but in future visits, I'll probably stick to other parts of the menu.

Cute, casual spot to go for drinks or dinner. Came here with a good friend of mine & it was both our first times here. We got seated quickly & ordered drinks to start. My friend's espresso martini was delicious but I wasn't a huge fan of my blueberry vodka lemon drop drink, it was pretty bitter but I think I needed to mix it. The food was yummy, we shared a salad and then both got personal pizzas! We both enjoined it and would come back again. Also, our waitress was so sweet & attentive!

One of my many visits here and per usual, 5 stars. Came for lunch this time around and switched it up getting the burger and a side of chips. Normally, I go with one of the pasta dishes and those are always a pleasure. So it was interesting to get something different. The burger was cooked exactly right and was flavorful. The bacon on it was also cooked just right and delicious! Juicy, but not soggy. The chips were crisp and also well seasoned. And now for the ice cream. I always have to save room because the ice cream is amazing. A unique flavor and in spite of an amazing menu in general - this is my favorite thing every time. Vanilla ice cream, honey, olive oil, fennel seed, and sea salt. I can't even explain what this combo of flavors does for me but definitely do yourself a favor and get some! And get extra to-go because you will want more. On this particular day, we sat outside, which I always prefer. Inside is a bit loud for my liking - makes conversations a little tough. The outside area is one of my Favorites at any restaurant. And the service is always on par - sitting in, out, or at the bar it's always a great experience and this time was no different. It doesn't matter that it was busy. Food is served timely and attention is always paid to each table. I will of course be back again.

The service was impeccable for a busy Friday evening. We were seated right away without a reservation. The restaurant is a mix of casual and formal and there's not really a dress code even though the menu items are on the fancier end. The food was delicious. We tried the burrata, shrimp scampi, lasagna, and agnolotti. The burrata was rich, there was a lot of it and the fig jam complimented it well. The focaccia was crispy, which was a bit hard to eat with the burrata, but it was homemade so it was great. The shrimp scampi had a ton of shrimp. The butter sauce was so good I wanted to drink it. The lasagna doesn't have meat but you can add meat sauce, and even though the seven layers are distinct, it didn't quite live up to the hype. The agnolotti was tasty and I can tell why it's a crowd favorite. Great portion size, and each pocket is stuffed with meat!! Great restaurant for a date night and catching up with friends.

I have always heard good things about Midtown Table since they are part of the Medure brothers restrauants. I came here in December for a holiday party on a week day during lunch. We were seated outside and despite it being quite chilly they have plenty of heaters to keep you warm regardless of the season. This is a very nice touch! I had the Pittsburgh Pastrami. I loved a good pastrami sandwich and was surprised but not upset to find that this one came with fries ON the sandwich. Fun! Fries are definitely my weakness. I had it served with the house side salad. The sandwich was served on a very tasty sourdough bread and I loved the flavor of the pastrami. The side salad was also very tasty! We were a group of 7 and honestly - I found the service to be lacking which is the reason for a 4-star review. It was difficult to get a server while seated outside. Multiple appetizers and drinks were forgotten without an apology after. Our mains were served at different times which might not be a big deal to some but it's a pet peeve for me. I'd go back to midtown table to try them again if someone wanted to eat there but I'm not actively seeking them out.

Midtown Table is a nice addition to St. John's Town Center, with Italian-inspired cuisine good for lunch, happy hour or dinner! I haven't been to this area in quite some time and was happy that I got to catch-up with a friend/co-worker while here. She suggested this spot and it did not disappoint. We didn't get to grab happy hour, which I hear is amazing from other reviews, but the food we did get was superb. Whether you're craving pasta or a fried chicken sandwich, they seem to have something to please everyone here. The two were exactly what we got. I'm not usually a fried chicken sandwich gal but it was pretty good and I got it with a side of chips. We also got a side of truffle fries to share and they were good! My friend was raving about their dessert & if you know me, I will always say yes to dessert! We got the Midtown Table ice cream which consisted of Olive Oil, Fennel Pollen, Maldon Salt, & Honey. I wouldn't usually go for a dessert like this but it was actually really good. The inside is beautiful and modern and we had exceptional service. A great spot in this bustling area! Would love to try their happy hour if I'm ever back to visit.
